Welcome to Margaret River Hockey Club! For the past eight years, our commitment to the well-being of our club members has been unwavering. We recognise that fostering both physical and mental health is paramount in creating a positive and supportive environment for all involved.
In our journey of club development, we've actively pursued partnerships with organizations like Mindful Margaret River, Good Blokes Co and Zero2Hero . These collaborations provide us with invaluable resources that significantly contribute to the overall well-being of our club community.
If you have any specific questions or require assistance regarding these partnerships or any other aspects of your physical or mental health, please don't hesitate to reach out to us, your committee. We're here to support you in every possible way.

PAST EVENTS
Sunday 10th March 2024
After the usual banter of which team to play for, the seniors gathered at Settlers and Breakers to play for the Stronger Together Trophy. Both sides were fairly matched with the end score Settlers ahead by won! At 2.00 pm we played the inaugural Inclusion Cup donated by the Bycroft Family. Juniors from all age groups united wearing a mix of colourful socks and headgear to enjoy a friendly game captained by Tom Gorta “Team Teal” and Helena Williams “Team Yellow”. Although scores were not taken too seriously, it was team yellow that raised the trophy!
Proceeds this year will go towards support and care appointments for Vance Bycroft.
See photos of the day below, thanks to Karyn Acton.

We played our Settlers vs Breakers Memorial Match (formerly known as “Scarred for Life”) for Ken Howes, Stuart “Scar” Campbell and Wes Battese. Each year we play this special match to remember those players who we miss. It is a time to reflect, share memories, and play as a hockey family. We play in our shirts (original Settlers / Breakers colours) sponsored by Margaret River Cowaramup Electrical Services. and past player and long time supporter Ashley Hammond and Cowaramup Pharmacy.
We are there for each other, and we come together to play a hockey game with players from all teams, and all age groups, club members and friends alike.
This year we ran our event on a Saturday afternoon, in warm sunshine, new players and old joined together to sweat it out on the turf.
